Annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony! 12/4 6p

Mayor Joe E. Vega & The Port Isabel City Commission invite you to attend City of Port Isabel’s 7th Annual Community Tree Lighting on Thursday, DECEMBER 4 at 6 p.m., Beulah Lee Park. Public is invited! 213 N. Yturria St. Next to the Public Library.

Special appearances by Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus, Music Performances, Crafts for Children, Christmas Caroling, Food Booths and Goody Bags! DJ Aaron Olvera! For more information, please call (956) 943-2682.

Lighthouse Market Day! October 11 9a-4p ~ Vendors & More!

On Saturday, October 11, 2014, the City of Port Isabel and the Port Isabel Museums will be hosting their annual Lighthouse Market Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Lighthouse grounds.

Vendors on the Lighthouse Square will be offering a variety of food, antiques, arts & crafts, art and more. For vendor information, click here.

Special admission prices to museums! The Port Isabel Historical Museum and the Treasures of the Gulf Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will have a special admission price of $1.00 for each site. Come join in the fun, enjoy historic Port Isabel during Lighthouse Market Day.

5th Annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting Kicks Off Holiday Season

Mayor Joe E. Vega and the Port Isabel City Commissioners invite you to the 5th Annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony! The evening will feature lots of entertainment by DJ Lupita Gonzalez, Derry Elementary Folklorico, Port Isabel Junior High Cheerleaders, Adagio Ballet Dance School, Santa Claus & Goodie Bags and lots of vendors will all kinds of delectable treats!

Thursday, November 29 at 6 p.m. in Buelah Lee Park. No admission charge. Open to the public.

Queen Isabella Market Day at the Lighthouse 4/16

The Museums of Port Isabel and the City of Port Isabel invite you to enjoy a day filled with live entertainment, vendors, food, family fun on the grounds of the Historic Port Isabel Lighthouse! Queen Isabella Market Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 16th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no admission charge to the event. Vendors offering collectibles, antiques, local art, jewelry and more will be lining the sidewalks around the lighthouse. A tent with tables and chairs near the live entertainment will offer the opportunity to sit down and relax while enjoying some tasty tamales, baked goods or other dishes local vendors and restaurants will be offering. Or just roll down the grassy hill of the lighthouse! Relax and let us entertain you during a family fun day in Port Isabel!

The Port Isabel Lighthouse will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission just $1.00 during Market Day. And plan to visit the Port Isabel Historical Museum and the Treasures of the Gulf Museum, just a short walk across Highway 100 where admission is also just $1.00 to each site.
