The Port Isabel Lighthouse Solar Eclipse Viewing Event on April 8, 12:00 – 3:00 pm<\/strong>\u00a0will offer a unique opportunity to view this solar event from the catwalk of a historic Lighthouse! A chance to imagine what it must\u2019ve been like for the Lighthouse Keeper Henry Wildman and Assistant Keeper George Sanders and their families to marvel at the wonder of a twilight sky at noontime in 1878 when the last total eclipse occurred in Texas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
