TITLE: Library Aide – Youth Services – Full time
SALARY: $8.00 hour
REPORTS TO: Library Director
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for developing, coordinating and evaluating youth programs, assist in every day operations of the library, circulation, reference, internet services, processing library cards and shelving library materials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma
Bilingual preferred, but not required
Some library experience preferred but not necessary
Computer literate

Head Lifeguard Experience Preferred
Lifeguard Certification
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage pool operations and develop work schedules. Oversee pool personnel on assigned shift and ensure pool area is adequately staffed and prepared for operating hours.

REQUIREMENTS:
Pool Lifeguard Certification and/or a Red Cross Certification preferred. (If you do not have your lifeguard certification you will be?required to receive certification from the City of Port Isabel).

Police Maintenance Worker
Job Summary:
Knowledgeable of safety procedures and practices, must be able to communicate orally and in writing, skilled in performing work requiring strength and agility in all weather conditions; skilled in using a variety of equipment including shovels, picks, jackhammers, circular saws, chainsaws, and drills. Must have the ability to clear vegetation/trash from city quickly and safely; ability to follow oral and written directions; ability to identify and correct potential safety hazards, ability to quickly identify details of distant objects. Must be 18 years or older and have a Texas Class B Drivers License
