KENNEL ATTENDANT
SALARY:Starting salary $7.25 per hour
JOB SUMMARY:Performs cleaning and general operation of the Isabel Y. Garcia Animal Shelter.
REQUIREMENTS:Must possess a High School diploma or GED, ability to relate well with the public, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. animals, and assist the Animal Control Officer. Must pass physical and drug screening.

JOB SUMMARY
Must be knowledgeable of basic construction methods.Knowledgeable of safety procedures and practices, must be able to communicate orally and in writing, skilled in performing work requiring strength and agility in all weather conditions; skilled in using a variety of equipment including shovels, picks, jackhammers, circular saws, chainsaws, and drills.Must have the ability to clear vegetation/trash from city streets, sidewalks, and alleys quickly and safely; ability to follow oral and written directions; ability to identify and correct potential safety hazards, ability to quickly identify details of distant objects.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years or older and have a Texas Class B Drivers License
