Cameron County Added to FEMA Disaster Declaration ~ Registration Deadline 1/25

Attention: Port Isabel Residents

Disaster 4245-Texas Cameron County has recently been added to FEMA's disaster declaration, due to recent storms occurring October 22 through October 31, 2015. FEMA's individual assistance program may be able to assist anyone in Cameron County who may have suffered damage to their primary home due to severe storms, tornadoes, strait line winds or flood damage that may have occurred during this time period. Citizens are urged to register with FEMA and can do so by one of the following methods;
  • Contacting a National Processing Service Center by calling 1-800-621-3362 and speaking with a FEMA representative or;
  • Visiting the Disaster Recovery Center set up in Brownsville at 9901 California Road (Bob Clark Social Service Building) hours of operation are Mon-Fri. 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sat. 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will be closed for the holidays December 23-27, 2015.
  • Registration deadline is January 25, 2016, so please register as soon as possible the disaster number corresponding to this incident is Disaster 4245-Texas.
