The Port District is a spacious district, depicted by bright blue, its icon, a ship is a familiar sight at the dock. Named for the port that was established in the 1930s. The Port District is home to a marina and vessels of a wide variety. Industry related businesses located in the Port District include one of the area’s leading shrimp packers, the Port Isabel Logistical Offshore Terminal (PILOT), Subsea 7, Inc.
